Śrīla Prabhupāda’s Vyāsa-pūjā – Dhanurdhara Swami’s Offering to Śrīla Prabhupāda

September 5th, 2026

Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to you!

I spend a good part of the year in Śrī Govardhana. The great fortune of living here is getting the association of people with deep attachment to the holy name and authentic love for Śrī Śrī Rādhā and Krishna. Sometimes I am fortunate that these people share something of their inner life with me. Knowing them, I then reflect on what is the foundation of their success. It is inevitably their unshakeable faith in you which includes their initiating spiritual masters, your books, and service to your mission. They are junior to me in the sense they are not your direct disciples, but they are no doubt your followers and their association deepens my faith in the path of perfection you have given me. You have given us everything. I pray one day to fully take avail of your mercy. I can only bow my head a thousand times in the deepest gratitude for all you have given, especially the association of your followers, both as sādhakas (those deep in their spiritual practice) and sevakas (those deep in their active devotional service), who walk the path of perfection in your footsteps for me to follow. I am eternally grateful.

Your servant,

Dhanurdhara Swami
